U.13 Assistant Coach

Coach Kim began coaching last year as the assistant coach of the U12 team with Kitsap JRs. She grew up in a volleyball family with her mother playing for recreation and her aunt playing at the college level. They both still play today, in their 50's and 60's. Coach Kim began playing in junior high and played varsity two years in high school. In college she began playing the Co-ed Recreational League and continues to play to this day. Coach Kim is passionate about volleyball as an excellent sport to teach teamwork and a positive self-image in young women. These qualities and the character developed through playing team sports are invaluable to our young women as they transition into adult life! Coach Kim is USAV Impact certified and also First Aid/CPR certified. She is happily married and has four children, one son (20 yrs old) and three daughters (18,12 and 7).
